Bob MacNeil came to Harrisonburg full time in 1960,
when WHSV-TV offered state and local news, sports and weather in live
15-minute segments at 6 and 11 each evening.
Bob took over as host of "Candid Comment" and
later went on to be operations manager at WSVA.
Bob won 50 broadcast awards
during his career
